FUSE at 18: Enzo Siragusa, 200 Sundays and the Drumsheds Birthday

FUSE turns eighteen this year, and on Saturday 28 November 2026 the London party that started as a Sunday after-hours at 93 Feet East takes Drumsheds for the first time: three rooms, 13:00 to 22:30, with Enzo Siragusa, Luciano, Apollonia, Sweely, Traumer, Voigtmann, Rossi and 16 more, the biggest London show the imprint has ever staged. For a minimal and deep tech producer, which is what I am, this is the one date of the autumn that is about my own lineage rather than someone else's. This is the story of FUSE, from a Brick Lane Sunday with 200 consecutive weeks to a 14,999-capacity former IKEA, of Enzo Siragusa, the Cockney-Italian who built it, of the label and the residents, and of what a minimal party does in a room that size.

Enzo Siragusa: barbershop, jungle raves, Ibiza, Brick Lane

Enzo Siragusa was born in 1978 in the UK to Sicilian parents who ran a barbershop in Maidenhead, and he describes himself as Cockney-Italian, which is the right way round. The music came from older relatives and the early-90s rave circuit, Dreamscape and Helter Skelter, hardcore and jungle before house; the day job came from the dot-com years, in IT; and the turn came in 2003, when he left the job, moved to Ibiza and took a residency at a bar owned by Café Mambo. He came back to London with a sound that was neither the island's big-room house nor the capital's minimal techno but the groove between them, and in late 2008 he started FUSE as an after-hours continuation of a night called Circuit, at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane, on Sunday mornings.

200 Sundays: how FUSE became FUSE

FUSE ran 10am to 10pm on Sundays at 93 Feet East, and it ran every Sunday: more than 200 consecutive weekly parties, which is the number that explains everything about the brand's discipline. A weekly party cannot survive on headliners; it survives on residents and a room that trusts them. Seb Zito, Rich NxT, Archie Hamilton and Rossko became the core, and the sound they built, the rolling, swung, sub-heavy minimal groove that the rest of the world now calls the FUSE sound, was made week after week for a crowd that had not gone to bed. When 93 Feet East was raided and closed in December 2012, FUSE moved to Village Underground in Shoreditch for monthly parties, and by then it was already an Ibiza brand too: weekly Tuesdays at Delano Beach Club within a year of launching, then residencies at Amnesia, Space and Sankeys, INFUSE parties at Underground, a Cuttin' Headz x FUSE party at DC-10, the island's minimal home, in August 2019, and FUSE x Brunch Electronik days at 528 Ibiza in the summers of 2025 and 2026.

The label came in 2011. FUSE London has since released more than 45 EPs and five albums by the label's own count, and it spawned INFUSE for the deeper material, then LOCUS and ILLUSIONS. That structure, a weekly party that became a label that became a family of labels, is the same one that built the scene I wrote about in minimal deep tech and 90s house, and it is why the names on the Drumsheds bill are a lineage rather than a booking list.

The 18th birthday line-up, read properly

Twenty-three names across three rooms, and they sort into generations. The elders are Luciano, the Chilean-Swiss Cadenza boss whose Ibiza sets defined the 2000s, and Apollonia, the French trio of Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky, who have been the gold standard for long, patient house sets since 2012. The FUSE core is Enzo Siragusa himself, Voigtmann, the UK-based producer who has been the label's most consistent voice, Traumer, the French minimal producer whose records defined the mid-2010s, and Sweely, the French producer who took the sound to the festivals. The London generation is Rossi, whose profile on this site tracks his releases on FUSE and LOCUS and his Boiler Room debut, Samuel Deep, ADMNTi, Dungeon Meat and Julian Anthony. And the newer names, Jhobei, Kepler, L.P. Rhythm, Laidlaw, Marlie, Marsolo, Melody, Natalia Roth, PACH, Reeshy, E.lina and Boss Priester, are the residents and affiliates a party this size needs to fill three rooms from 1pm. Room splits had not been published at the time of writing; expect Enzo, Luciano and Apollonia in the X Room in the evening and the residents holding Y and Z through the afternoon.

Can minimal work at 14,999?

The honest question, and the one every FUSE regular is asking. Minimal is small-room music: it lives on the details, the swing in the hats, the sub you feel more than hear, the eight-hour arc that turns a room into a congregation. Drumsheds is a former retail warehouse, licensed for 14,999 after the January 2025 review in the Drumsheds pillar, and it finishes at 22:30, for the reasons in why London's biggest raves finish at 10:30pm. Nothing about that is a Sunday at 93 Feet East.

Two things make it plausible anyway. The first is the refit: the venue's d&b audiotechnik system, reworked with acoustic treatment and extra bass and Infrabass speakers, and the redesigned Y Room, both upgrades made for the AW25/26 season, as the season guide sets out, are the first Drumsheds configuration that suits a groove-led sound rather than a drop-led one; a second room that the venue's hire page puts at up to 2,500 people, with Apollonia on the decks, is the closest a building this size can get to a club. The second is the crowd. FUSE has spent 18 years training an audience to stay, and a minimal crowd that arrives at 13:00 for the residents and is still there when Enzo closes is a different proposition from a brand-day crowd that comes for the headliner at 8pm. Whether 14,999 of those people exist in London on one Saturday is the experiment. My guess is that the day will split: the X Room will be a festival, and Y and Z will be the party.

FUSE against the rest of the season

It sits in the busiest month of the London calendar, the day after The Warehouse Project's 20th birthday in Manchester and a week before Resistance closes the Drumsheds season; the November 2026 club calendar has the whole month. For the sound's other autumn dates, FUSE plays ADE in Amsterdam on 25 October, the week the ADE guide covers, and the minimal and groove lineage that runs from FUSE through PIV to Ibiza's current wave is the story of Chris Stussy's USS and the London to Ibiza pipeline. For why the small-room version of this music costs what it does now, read minimal house and expensive clubbing.

How to do the FUSE birthday

  • Arrive early and stay in the small rooms. The point of FUSE is the residents; the point of the day is the afternoon. Treat the X Room headliners as the encore.
  • Buy on the official channel. Early entry before 2pm was £41.95 on Resident Advisor at the time of writing, and general admission tickets carry a 5pm last entry; the pre-sale audience for this brand is loyal and the tiers will go.
  • The Y Room. If the room split follows the sound, the Y Room is where the long sets will be. It holds up to 2,500 people on the venue's hire page, a fraction of the X Room.
  • Plan the night. A 22:30 close on a minimal day is cruel; fabric's Saturday or FOLD's all-nighter are the natural continuations, and the FOLD vs fabric vs E1 vs Drumsheds comparison tells you which.
  • Get home. Meridian Water station is five minutes on foot; the £5 return shuttle runs to Tottenham Hale for the Victoria line.
