What little data this site touches, where it goes, and the rights you have over it — written to be actually readable.
This site sets no cookies, runs no ad trackers, builds no profiles, has no accounts, and sells nothing — including your data. Our only measurement is Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless counter that stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you. The only personal data we ever receive is what you submit through our forms or choose to email us. Webfonts are self-hosted; the site does load some media from a few third-party servers (listed below), which technically see your IP address when your browser requests them.
The data controller for mneemo.com (the "Site") is Yaroslav Gorovoy, performing as MNEEMO and trading as HOUSE OF MNEEMO, London, United Kingdom — contact info@mneemo.com. This policy covers the Site only; it does not cover third-party platforms we link to (Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, Resident Advisor, Fatsoma and others), which have their own policies.
We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and, where it applies to visitors from the European Economic Area, the EU GDPR.
The booking form and the guest-list registration form submit the details you enter (name, email address, Instagram handle, party size, or enquiry text) to our form endpoint, hosted on Cloudflare. The submission triggers a notification to us and, for guest-list requests, a confirmation email to you, both delivered through Resend (Resend, Inc.), our email processor; guest-list contacts are also stored in our private contact list within Resend until the retention periods below. If the endpoint is unavailable, the forms fall back to composing a draft email in your own mail application instead — nothing is sent that way unless you press send yourself. The full-screen enquiry overlay and direct email links always work through your own mail application.
We use this data to reply, to negotiate and administer bookings and collaborations, to manage event guest lists, and to handle press requests. Legal bases: our legitimate interest in running an artist business and responding to people who contact us (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); and, where an enquiry leads to an agreement, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
The Site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). Like any host, Cloudflare processes connection data — IP address, user agent, requested URLs — to deliver pages, prevent abuse and maintain security. We do not receive or store these logs ourselves; Cloudflare's processing is described in its privacy policy. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
The Site stores exactly one value in your browser's sessionStorage (mn-intro-seen) so the opening animation plays once per visit instead of on every page. It contains no identifier, is never transmitted anywhere, and is deleted automatically when you close the tab. This is strictly necessary functionality, not tracking, and therefore requires no consent banner under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
If we launch a mailing list, it will be opt-in, with a confirmation step, used only for the updates described at signup (music, events), with a working unsubscribe link in every message, and this policy will be updated to name the provider. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time.
Some media on the Site is served from third-party servers. When your browser requests these files, the provider technically receives your IP address, user agent and the referring page — as with any resource on the web. We use them because they are necessary to display the content; their processing is governed by their own policies:
Legal basis for loading these resources: legitimate interest in displaying the Site's content. We periodically reduce such dependencies (webfonts and most imagery are served from our own domain — no font request leaves the Site).
Enquiry emails are received and stored in our email account, provided by Google (Gmail), acting as our processor. Form submissions are relayed by Cloudflare (hosting/edge functions) and Resend, Inc. (email delivery and our guest-list contact store), both acting as processors under their respective data processing terms. Beyond that, we share personal data only: with professional advisers (for example accountants or lawyers) where genuinely needed; with venues or promoters where you ask to be on a guest list for their event (name as provided); and with authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal data.
Our providers (Cloudflare, Google) operate globally, so data they process may be transferred outside the UK/EEA, including to the United States. Such transfers rely on recognised safeguards: UK adequacy regulations, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, and/or standard contractual clauses (SCCs / IDTA), as applicable to each provider.
The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS. We hold the minimum data possible (see above — effectively, email correspondence), access to the mailbox is protected with strong authentication, and we have no database of users that could leak. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but our minimal-data design keeps the attack surface close to zero.
Under the UK GDPR (and the EU GDPR where applicable) you have the right to:
To exercise any right, email info@mneemo.com. We may ask you to verify your identity, and we respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, in the EEA, to your local supervisory authority — though we would appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first.
We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and we collect none of the categories used for profiling or advertising. California residents may exercise access and deletion rights via the contact above. Because the Site uses no tracking, signals such as Global Privacy Control are honoured by design.
The Site is a general-audience music publication and is not directed at children. HOUSE OF MNEEMO events are for persons 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16; if you believe a minor has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Our editorial articles report on and discuss public figures and professionals in music (artists, DJs, promoters) using information from public sources, in the exercise of freedom of expression and for journalistic purposes (UK GDPR / DPA 2018 journalism provisions). If an article concerns you and you wish to raise accuracy, privacy or removal of a photograph, use the corrections procedure in our Terms of Use — we review every request in good faith.
We will update this page when our practices change (for example, when the newsletter launches or a new tool is added) and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
