Wilkinson's real name is Mark Wilkinson. He was born on 18 April 1989 in Hammersmith and Fulham, west London, signed to RAM Records at 21, took Afterglow into the UK top ten in 2013 and released his fifth album, Infinity, in March 2026. On Saturday 7 November 2026 he headlines Worried About Henry at Drumsheds, the all-day drum and bass takeover that runs from midday to 22:30 across three rooms, with Bou, Kanine, Luude and Flowdan in the X Room and a Y Room hosted by DnB Rollers that reads like a history of the genre: Break, Skeptical back to back with Halogenix, Breakage with DJ Flight, Redlight with Champion, Special Request with ODF. This is two profiles in one: the producer who made drum and bass sing without slowing it down, and the brand that has become one of the biggest DnB promoters in the country.

What is Wilkinson's real name, and where does he come from?

Mark Wilkinson kept his surname and dropped the rest, which in drum and bass, a genre of aliases, was itself a statement. He grew up in west London and came through the RAM Records system, the label Andy C built into the genre's biggest, with a debut single in December 2010 and an album, Lazers Not Included, by 2013. The record that changed the size of the rooms was Afterglow: a drum and bass track with a proper pop vocal from Becky Hill, the first of the post-Voice generation of British singers to make DnB her home, and it reached number eight in the UK in October 2013. What Wilkinson understood, and what a decade of imitators has confirmed, is that you could put a chorus on a 174 BPM record without slowing the drums, and the radio would play it. Take You Higher the same year and Sweet Lies with Karen Harding in 2016 did it again; the albums Hypnotic and Cognition kept the balance between the club and the song.

Infinity: the fifth album

Infinity arrived on 27 March 2026 on Sleepless Music: 14 tracks gathered over three years, most of them already out as singles the crowd knew, with Kaskade and Paige Cavell on Shine On, Camo & Krooked and Mefjus from the Austrian neurofunk end, and vocals from Emily Makis, Julia Church, Kelli-Leigh, Mougleta, Katy Alex and Tom Cane. It is the record of a producer who has been doing this for fifteen years and knows exactly which half of his audience wants the drop and which half wants the chorus, and it gives both. The useful measure is that the autumn tour behind it runs through arenas and warehouses, Milton Keynes on Halloween, Bristol and Cardiff the week after Drumsheds, which is the scale British drum and bass now operates at.

Worried About Henry: from 2014 to the biggest rooms in the country

WAH started in 2014 and grew, within a decade, into a brand that runs events in more than 20 UK cities and fills two of the biggest club spaces in England, Depot Mayfield and Drumsheds. It won Best Club Event at DJ Mag's Best of British Awards in 2023, it runs its own WAH In The City festival, and its takeovers of The Warehouse Project have become fixtures of the Manchester season: the Friday 9 October 2026 edition ran across five spaces including the Vault, as listed in the Warehouse Project guide. What WAH does that older DnB brands did not is programme like a festival: multiple rooms with hosted stages, MCs on every set, and a bill that runs from the arena names to the rollers underground in one building. It is the same infrastructure story I told in the DnB Allstars piece: the genre's growth in the 2020s has come from promoters building platforms, not just booking DJs.

The Drumsheds line-up, room by room

As the venue lists it for Saturday 7 November 2026, 12:00 to 22:30:

  • Room X: Wilkinson, Bou, Kanine, Luude, [IVY], Grafix presents DSD.AV, Rova b2b Primate, Pirapus FUTURE AV, OKO, SIMMS b2b Artemis, Flowdan.
  • Room Y, hosted by DnB Rollers: Break ft. MC GQ, Skeptical b2b Halogenix ft. SP:MC, Breakage b2b DJ Flight ft. RAGE, Monrroe ft. Duskee, Business As Usual ft. Illaman, Chimpo b2b Salo ft. Strategy, HOAX ft. PVC, Crystal Clear b2b Sweetpea ft. FOKUS (live), Denham Audio b2b Just Jane, Frazer Ray b2b mixtress, Izco b2b Capo Lee, Melé b2b Yemz, Miggs b2b Carter, Redlight b2b Champion, Special Request b2b ODF.
  • Room Z: to be announced at the time of writing.

The X Room is the arena side: Wilkinson headlining, Bou, the Manchester producer whose profile on this site explains why he is the genre's biggest breakout of the decade, Kanine, the Australian Luude, and Flowdan, the grime MC who has become drum and bass's favourite voice. The Y Room is the one for people who were there before the arenas: Break and Skeptical with Halogenix are the rollers' rollers, Breakage back to back with DJ Flight is two of the most respected selectors in the genre on one set, Redlight with Champion is the UK garage and bassline crossover, and Special Request with ODF is the breakbeat and jungle end. If you are coming from the jungle side of this site, Tim Reaper and Nia Archives readers, Y is your room from the first hour.

How to do WAH at Drumsheds

  • Doors at midday. The earliest of the whole Drumsheds season. The Y Room programme is deep enough that arriving at three means missing half of it.
  • Buy on the official channel. From £29.50 plus booking fee at the opening tier; the WAH Drumsheds days have sold out before and the tiers climb.
  • Two rooms, one plan. X for the headliners in the evening, Y for the back-to-backs through the afternoon. Moving between Room X and Room Y, which holds up to 2,500 since its redesign, at 8pm takes longer than you think.
  • Earplugs and water. Ten and a half hours at 174 BPM on the refit d&b audiotechnik system.
  • Get home. Meridian Water station is five minutes on foot; the £5 return shuttle runs to Tottenham Hale. A 22:30 close leaves the night open, and the November 2026 club calendar has what pairs with it.

Why Wilkinson and WAH matter in 2026

Drum and bass is the British genre that never needed a revival because it never went away, and the two halves of this article are why. Wilkinson is the producer who proved, thirteen years ago, that the sound could carry a song into the top ten at full speed, and Infinity is the fifth album from a career built on that one insight. Worried About Henry is the promoter that turned the genre's weekly loyalty into 14,999-capacity days. As a garage producer I sit at 136 BPM, and the DnB rooms are where my crowd goes when it wants the double-time; the relationship between the two tempos is in the UK garage BPM guide, and the records that define the current wave are in the best jungle and drum and bass tracks of 2026. On 7 November both halves meet in Tottenham from midday.
