About the Project:
Emi Arfush and Yaroslav Gorovoy, known professionally as emi and MNEEMO, present a three-track remix collection reimagining her most iconic songs. Remix Collection is a collaborative EP from London-based producer MNEEMO and artist emi, featuring three reimagined versions of some of her most recognised songs. After performing together in London, the creative chemistry evolved into a full remix project, blending emi’s emotional alt-pop aesthetic with MNEEMO’s atmospheric electronic production.
The EP offers a fresh sonic perspective on emi’s catalogue while keeping the emotional core of each track intact. This project marks the first time Emilie Arfush (emi) has released an entire body of work reimagined by a single producer, Yaroslav Gorovoy (MNEEMO).

Story Behind the EP
It started with a single performance in London.emi was preparing a stripped, intimate set, and invited MNEEMO to rework a few of her songs for a one-off live moment. There was no plan for a release, no talk about a project — just two artists from different worlds trying to find the right sound for a stage. What was meant to be a simple arrangement session turned into something much bigger.
The minimal edits for the show became early sketches. The sketches turned into full productions. And the space between emi’s vocal universe and MNEEMO’s electronic world suddenly felt like its own language. As artists, both Emilie and Yaroslav approached the project from different creative worlds, meeting in a shared aesthetic space where her melancholic songwriting meets his cinematic production style.
The music began evolving on the road — hotel rooms, late nights, headphones on trains, voice notes, fragments, exported drafts — and slowly the idea of a complete EP appeared, almost by itself. Remix Collection isn’t a “club version” or a “pop version”.It’s the point where two perspectives meet: emi’s emotional, cinematic writing and MNEEMO’s darker, atmospheric approach.

BIO: EMI (Emilie Arfush)
Emilie Arfush, known professionally as emi, is a singer-songwriter originally from Ukraine with Korean and Lebanese heritage. She is the author of the viral hit “Metamorphosis”, a track that introduced her distinctive emotional landscape to a worldwide audience.
Her passion for music began at the age of eight, when she started taking singing lessons and developing her vocal expression. Music remained a constant thread in her life as she explored other creative and personal interests.
In her early twenties, Emi began writing songs as a way to articulate her inner world, thoughts, emotions, and reflections that couldn’t be expressed elsewhere. By 2020, she had written and recorded her first original tracks, experimenting with sound and sculpting an artistic identity rooted in vulnerability and depth. These early projects became the foundation of her musical voice.
In 2023, Emi launched her professional career with the release of “Project 1”, establishing herself within the alternative pop landscape. Her sound blends elements of electronic, pop, indie, and R&B, creating a unique sonic palette defined by introspective storytelling and her unmistakable vocal timbre.
Today, Emi continues to build a growing discography shaped by themes of identity, self-discovery, and the complexities of modern emotion, music that resonates through authenticity and a deeply personal point of view.
BIO: MNEEMO (Yaroslav Gorovoy)
Yaroslav Gorovoy, known professionally as MNEEMO, is a London-based producer, DJ, and electronic artist recognised for his cinematic style, dynamic live performances, and cross-genre approach to modern electronic music. Born in Ukraine and raised across Eastern Europe before relocating to London at seventeen, he developed an early fascination with production, drawing influence from drum and bass, UK garage, house, and contemporary electronic sound design.
Over the past decade, Yaroslav has released a broad catalogue of original music and remixes, including well-known tracks such as “Facile”, “GIVE YOU MORE”, “You & Me”, and his debut album “The Vault”. His work is defined by emotionally charged progressions, atmospheric layering, and a rhythmic precision shaped by years of studio craftsmanship.
In 2022, MNEEMO began performing weekly live DJ sets from iconic global locations, quickly attracting large international viewership and establishing himself as a forward-thinking visual performer as well as a producer. His sets have been streamed hundreds of thousands of times, expanding his audience across Europe, the UK, and North America.
Today, MNEEMO stands at the intersection of electronic production, cultural storytelling, and modern visual performance, continuously expanding his artistic identity through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to elevating the global electronic music landscape.
