La Discothèque celebrates its 10th anniversary at Drumsheds on Friday 13 November 2026, 19:00 to 03:00, across all three rooms, from £38 plus booking fee: Purple Disco Machine with special guest Folamour, Masters at Work, Dan Shake and the La Discothèque Orchestra in the X Room, a Y Room curated by Jayda G with Ron Trent, and Dombresky's Disco Dom and DJ Paulette in the Z Room. It is the party that opened Drumsheds in October 2023, it sold the building out last year, and it is one of only three Fridays in the venue's autumn season with a 3am finish. Here is the bill room by room, who the names are, what La Discothèque is and how to do the night.

The line-up, room by room

Drumsheds lists the bill in reverse order of appearance, so the first name in each room plays last. The venue announces set times show by show, in the event's essential info email and on its Instagram.

  • X Room: Purple Disco Machine, special guest Folamour, Masters at Work (Louie Vega and Kenny Dope), Dan Shake, La Discothèque Orchestra, Disco Voix featuring Jenna G, Siggy.
  • Y Room, Jayda G Curates: Ron Trent, Jayda G, Jennifer Loveless, Tarzsa.
  • Z Room: Dombresky presents Disco Dom, DJ Paulette, Heléna Star, Daisybelle.

Read the X Room from the bottom up and it is a history lesson that ends in the present. Live vocals and the orchestra early, while people are still arriving, then Dan Shake, then Masters at Work, then Folamour and Purple Disco Machine to close. The Y Room is the one for people who came for records rather than production, and the Z Room is the house and disco party for anyone who wants to be near the bar.

Who the names are

  • Purple Disco Machine: Tino Piontek, from Dresden, the producer behind Hypnotized and In the Dark with Sophie and the Giants, and a Grammy winner in 2023 for his remix of Lizzo's About Damn Time. His Drumsheds debut was last year's La Discothèque.
  • Masters at Work: "Little" Louie Vega and Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez, the New York pair working under that name since 1990, also known as Nuyorican Soul. Their dub mixes are part of the prehistory of UK garage, the records London DJs pitched up in the 90s, as the UK garage tempo guide explains.
  • Folamour: the French producer from Lyon who runs the FHUO label, billed here as Purple Disco Machine's special guest rather than a separate headliner.
  • Jayda G: the Canadian DJ and producer, Grammy-nominated for Both of Us, who is curating the Y Room.
  • Ron Trent: the Chicago house producer whose Altered States launched his career, closing the Y Room.
  • DJ Paulette: the Manchester DJ whose first residency was at the Haçienda in the early 90s.

What La Discothèque is

La Discothèque began as a small party in Manchester and describes itself as built on the electricity of the Paradise Garage and the glamour of Studio 54: New York disco, reimagined for now, with a troupe of dancers dressed as flamingos as its signature. By its own account it sold out five shows at Printworks, hosted the opening party at Drumsheds and later came back to sell the building out.

The history is why this date matters. The venue opened on Saturday 7 October 2023 with a La Discothèque day that ran 12:00 to 22:30, with the orchestra, Evelyn "Champagne" King and Jocelyn Brown on the bill. Last year's edition, on Friday 28 November 2025, was Purple Disco Machine's Drumsheds debut and his biggest UK show at the time, with Basement Jaxx, Eats Everything back to back with Jodie Harsh and Barbara Tucker on vocals. The venue now calls Drumsheds the brand's London home, which is why the 10th birthday is here rather than anywhere else.

The brand also takes The Warehouse Project in Manchester on Saturday 7 November, 18:00 to 02:30, with Basement Jaxx (DJ), Groove Armada (DJ) and Annie Mac, on sale at the time of writing. It is a mostly different bill for a different city, though Jayda G, Dombresky's Disco Dom, DJ Paulette and Daisybelle play both; the November 2026 club calendar has both.

Who it suits, and how to do it

It suits people who want to sing. Singalong music is what a room this size flatters, which is why this is one of the Drumsheds dates I recommend without the usual caveats in is Drumsheds worth it. It also suits house heads who avoid the X Room: Ron Trent and Jayda G in the low-ceilinged Y Room is a club night inside the festival.

  • Arrive early. The orchestra and the live vocals are in the first half of the X Room, and last entry on a Drumsheds Friday is typically 22:30.
  • Pick your Masters at Work moment. They sit third from the end of the X Room order, so expect them in the second half of the night; check the set times when the venue posts them, and Purple Disco Machine owns the close.
  • Dress for it, within the rules. Sequins and feathers are the uniform. Costume masks, light-up items and anything larger than an A4 bag are refused at the door.
  • Plan the 3am. Book the shuttle to Tottenham Hale, which runs until an hour after the show ends, and take the Victoria line, which runs through the night on Fridays.
