Chase & Status released Generic Everything, their seventh studio album, on Friday 9 October 2026: ten tracks with J Hus, Little Simz, Skrillex, Giggs, D Double E, Debbie and six more guests. The 2027 arena tour behind it runs from 18 February to 3 April in ten cities, and the UK dates are Glasgow OVO Hydro on 18 March, Manchester Co-op Live on 19 March, Utilita Arena Birmingham on 26 March and two nights at The O2 in London on 2 and 3 April. All eleven dates are on the band's own tour page. The announcement said "10 dates. 10 Cities."; the second O2 night was added afterwards for demand. Below: the tracklist, where the record sits, every date with what is confirmed and what is not, and the night I would book.

Generic Everything and the 2027 tour at a glance

  • Album: Generic Everything, released Friday 9 October 2026, ten tracks.
  • Guests: J Hus, IRAH, Saam Sultan, Little Simz, Skrillex, Blanco, Finesse Kid, D Double E, Ledbyher, Debbie, Giggs and Col3trane.
  • Tour: eleven arena dates, Łódź on 18 February 2027 to London on 3 April 2027, billed on the band's site as the Live World Tour 2027.

Three were out before release day: "Disgruntled" on 24 July, "Gone Too Far" with the album announcement at the end of August, and "Essa Ta Quente" in September, after a preview during the duo's joint Boomtown set with Skrillex. The March single "Through The Pain" with Pozer is not on the album. The band pitched the record as a push against conformity: "The cube is our symbol for that pressure; a place where original ideas are squeezed into the same shape," they said in a statement quoted by Dork. "This album is about pushing back."

Read the credits as a DJ and the shape is clear. IRAH, one of the four voices on "Baddadan", is on two tracks, and around him sit London MCs and rappers from different generations, D Double E and Giggs next to J Hus and Little Simz. That is the formula of the last three years, the drum and bass drop as a delivery system for a vocalist, run across a whole album. What I want to know is how it lands live, because that is where this band has always made its case.

Where the album sits in the Chase & Status story

Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status) formed the duo in 2003 after meeting up again as students in Manchester, and released their debut album, More Than Alot, in 2008. The run that leads here started with 2 Ruff, Vol. 1, the November 2023 mixtape that carried "Baddadan" with Bou, and continued with "Backbone" with Stormzy, a standalone single from August 2024 and their first UK number one. In 2024 they won the BRIT for Producer of the Year, and Dork puts their Milton Keynes Bowl show that year at 45,000 people. In 2026, AEG Presents lists a headline set at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, a surprise back-to-back with Skrillex at Boomtown and main-stage headline sets at Reading and Leeds, covered in the Reading and Leeds dance stage guide. The jump-up side of "Baddadan" is in the Bou profile.

What is confirmed, and what is not

Confirmed. All eleven dates are on the band's tour page with ticket links, and all were on sale when this was written except the added O2 Saturday, listed for Monday 28 September at 10am. The English dates are also on the AEG Presents page. The O2's own page lists both nights with doors at 18:30. Gigs in Scotland lists Glasgow with doors at 19:00.

Not confirmed. Support acts: The O2 says only "plus special guests". Face-value prices. Set times, curfews and age policies. Any dates outside Europe, despite the "World Tour" name. And a correction: DJ Mag and We Rave You listed Glasgow as 8 March, but the band's tour page, Dork and Gigs in Scotland all give Thursday 18 March.

Which night I would book

  • London, Saturday 3 April. My pick: the last night of the tour, on a Saturday, added because the Friday was in demand. If there are surprise guests anywhere on this run, my bet is the final night at home, but that is a guess, not an announcement.
  • Birmingham, Friday 26 March. It is Good Friday, a bank holiday in England, Wales and Scotland, so most people are off work that day. Check rail engineering works before you book travel.
  • Manchester, Friday 19 March. The first English date, the night after Glasgow.
  • Glasgow, Thursday 18 March. The first UK night, with doors at 19:00 on a school night.

Drum and bass at arena scale

Before this tour starts, Nia Archives takes jungle into the Great Hall at Alexandra Palace on 26 November, covered in the Nia Archives Alexandra Palace guide. She comes at the big room from the breakbeat and songwriting side, Chase & Status from the main-stage crossover side, and the best jungle and DnB tracks of 2026 lays out that split.
